Welcome to the Dualla Show 2026! With its incredible mix of agricultural events, horses, machinery, food, live music and free children’s entertainment, this year’s show promises to be another fun-filled day for all the family! Details of individual events will added here in the coming weeks.
Start Time & Ticket Entrance Fee
Gates open to the public at 10am.
Children aged 16 years and under are FREE (must be accompanied by an adult)
PRE-PURCHASE TICKETS NOW AT A DISCOUNTED RATE. Tickets are on sale online for €17.50 or on the day for €20.
Student entry is €15
Senior Citizens are €15
You will receive an email with your ticket which you can present on your phone to be scanned at entry on the day.
Tractor Pulling
Huge crowds will also line both sides of the Dualla Show track as the Irish Tractor Pulling Committee return this year with another fantastic display of horsepower. Farm classes will be registration only this year again due to overwhelming interest. If you’ve got a tractor and wish to enter it you will be able to do so via our website. Pulling starts at 11.30am and will continue all day.
Stars of Country
This year Dualla Show brings a stellar line-up of country music acts featuring Olivia Douglas, TR Dallas, Shawn Cuddy, Dee Morrissey, Tex Deegan plus Dualla’s very own Trudi Lalor performing throughout the afternoon!
Livestock
Our livestock show has grown into one of the most competitive events of the year and we’re very grateful to have the support of FBD to make that possible. This year we’re hosting the Munster final of the Aberdeen-Angus Club Bull & Heifer of the Year competition. We’re also hosting the Cashel Blue Dairy Cow of the Year competition with a prize pot of €500.
The Pedigree Hereford Male Championship will attract some stiff competition with a first prize of €300 with 40% of the bull’s marks being based on its ICBF terminal index before entering the ring with the remaining 60% of the marks will be scored by the judge on the day.
Other classes of interest will be the Best Traditional and Continental Breeding Heifers, plus the popular Best Matching Pair in Show with a first prize of €500 cash!
This year also sees new Showmanship league classes, winners of which will earn points for the national Showmanship final in Millstreet this October.
After a strong showing last year, the sheep event returns again. Featured will be a Blue Texel class. This distinctive breed has excellent temperament and conformation with great maternal traits and are good milkers.
Showjumping
For equestrian fans Dualla will host the Munster Amateur final in addition to the normal SJI classes. All pony classes will be qualifying rounds for the Waterford/Tipperary SJI Pony Leagues and the Munster Stars of the Future League.
Wellness Area
Wellfest returns to Dualla Show 2026 with a fantastic selection of speakers curated by Zoe Hannon. Keynote speaker on the day is Marie Gleeson who as a former navy captain leverages her military leadership experience to inspire and educate on resilience and team performance. Throughout the day we’ll also have speakers including Caitlin Donnelly (neurodiversity), IFA’s Teresa Roche (farming and mental health), Steven Lafford (nutrition), Lydia Lawlor (women’s health), Embrace FARM (support after loss or injury), Will Fahey (author of Mariol) and Triona O’Mahony (life coach).
Food Village
And even more for foodies attending Dualla this year is our incredible food village featuring a diverse collection including artisan food makers such as Shanil’s Gourmet Street Food, Rom’s Crepes and Dinky Donuts! Whether it’s hot or cold, spicy or not, all taste buds will be catered for!
Dog Show
The dog show is also back again with John Smullen of Moyglass Kennels overseeing another great selection of dog classes with prizes sponsored by O’Connor Julian Veterinary. The winner of the new Junior Handler of the Year trophy will be chosen from the winners of the Best Boy Handler and Best Girl Handler classes (both under 14 years of age). The Best Puppy of the Year class will look for the best puppy from across all the other classes and in particular pay attention to gait, balance and attitude – an almost impossible task given the high quality seen every year.
Free Kids Entertainment
An affordable family day out is part of the Dualla Show ethos and our free children’s entertainment is back and better than ever, consisting of a secure and supervised play area with completely free inflatable castles, slides and obstacle courses including the 100ft “Eliminator”. And don’t forget the famous Dualla Bucket Train will be winding its way around the showgrounds all day.

Elsewhere at Dualla Show will be a display by Tipperary Emergency Services, plus a great selection of trade stands.

The show takes place in the village of Dualla, located 5km East of Cashel on the R691.

Traffic Management
Dualla Show is a large event. Please follow the routes outlined below to ensure safe and swift access to the show. Avoid using GPS navigation or Google Maps to find alternative roads.
Traffic travelling northbound on the M8 should use the YELLOW ROUTE that exits the M8 at Junction 7 and joins the R639 road towards the Horse and Jockey.
If coming from the east through Killenaule, Ballingarry, Kilkenny, etc. please use the GREEN ROUTE which goes through Ballinure.
If arriving from the north use the PURPLE ROUTE – if driving south along the M8 you can exit the motorway at Junction 6, Horse and Jockey.
All local traffic from Mid- and West Tipperary and Limerick direction should access the event site via the RED ROUTE through the town of Cashel.
Free Shuttle Service
Two free shuttle bus services are running all day from Cashel and Thurles to Dualla Show.
The Cashel bus will run from outside Coffee One 04 on the Main Street, starting at 11am and running every 30 minutes, dropping passengers into the show grounds. The last bus returns at 6pm. This service is kindly sponsored by Tipperary councillor John O’Heney.
The Thurles bus will start running from outside the AIB Bank at 11am and 2pm returning from 5pm to 6pm. This is sponsored by Richard Dwyer.
Mobility Access
Dualla Show is suitable for visitors with disabilities. However it should be noted that the event takes place in a grass field with no paved roads or paths.
Wherever possible those with mobility requirements are given forward parking but it is advisable to arrive early. Our mobility car park is available adjacent to the ticket cabin at the main entrance and is just a short distance to the main show area.
We provide a mobility assistance vehicle that runs all day around the main show grounds. Starting from the ticket entrance, it will follow a route with a number of drop-off/pick-up points around the show.

Camping
Unlike previous years there are no camping facilities available to the general public at this year’s Dualla Show.
No camper vans will be permitted in the show field or show car park on the Friday or Saturday night.
As an alternative we recommend the following local campsites:
- O’Brien’s Cashel Lodge Camping – this is 5km from the Dualla Show field
- Apple Farm Camping – this is just outside Cahir, about 17km from Cashel

Pets
Pets are more than welcome at Dualla Show. Note that they must be kept on a lead and be conscious of other people and their pets. Why not enter them in the Dog Show!
Volunteering
From distributing flyers, taking event registrations, helping with social media promotion, traffic stewardship, manning the information point, driving the Bucket Train! – the Dualla Show would not be happening without the incredible work done by the volunteers who give their time and effort on the day or throughout the year.
