Tractor Pulling 2019

The tractor pulling 2019 was sponsored by Lyons Tyre Service of Thurles. It saw the 4th round of the ITPC championship with a number of new entrants in the Superfarm classes and a chance to see the likes of Red Thunder and Horrid Henry go head-to-head for the top spot. New this year was the “Intimidator” which came all the way from Turriff in Scotland and is owned, built and driven by Phil Totton.

Darren Bailey from Laois pounded down the track to win the modified class with two full pulls in his New Holland “Challanger”. Pat Leonard from Wexford breezed to victory in the Class 3 competition while Ryan Patterson from Monoghan won the Class 2 event with his “Smokie Joe” in an exciting head-to-head that saw him pull a staggering 98.1 meters.
