General Rules

The Dog Show is open to all canines – mutt or pedigree. Our judges lookfor dogs that are fun, happy, talented and charming, so if you think that your dog fits the bill then be sure to bring your dog.

The competition categories include awards for best puppy (over 4 months and under 12 months), small dog, large dog, terrier, hound, gun dog and the much coveted “Chairperson’s Choice”. There’s also classes for best young handlers (boys and girls under 14).

New classes for 2022 are fancy dress, waggiest tail and best rescue.

All first place class winners are entered for the Best in Show.

Entries are taken both online and on the day. €3 per class.

Note that registation on the day is from 12:30pm. Try to get there a bit early so John and Marian can get you fully signed up! Judging starts at 2pm.

All dogs must be kept on a leash and please remember to clean up after your dog!
