Cattle 2026

One of the leading events in the Dualla Show. A unique opportunity for people to see the best commercial and pedigree specimens in the region. There’s cash prizes for top three places in each class worth €100, €70 and €30. Our main livestock sponsor for 2025 is FBD.

This year’s livestock event hosts the Growvite All-Ireland Aberdeen-Angus Club Bull & Heifer of the Year final.

Also being hosted this year is the pedigree Hereford male championship which has a first place cash prize of €500. For this event, 40% of the bull’s marks will be based on its ICBF terminal index before entering the ring. The remaining 60% of the marks will be scored by the judge. Both scores will be combined and the winner will then be chosen. All bulls must be genotyped.

The popular best pair in show is also back with a top prize of €500. The prize for best commercial roan heifer/bull is €500 also!
