We would like to sincerely thank Molloy Waste disposal for their generous sponsorship and support this year. Their professional team are also looking after all the waste disposal and recycling requirements from this years event which will be substantial. We also look forward to having some of their impressive fleet of Mercedes trucks on display at the truck show event (see the truck show page for details).

We've had a huge response to the "mystery" truck bale structure that appeared out of nowhere beside the M8 motorway near Horse and Jockey in Thurles, just down the road from the Dualla Show site. A few members of the community got together and built this fantastic work of art to help promote the Tipperary Truck show as part of this year's Dualla Show. It didn't take long for photos and article to start appearing on the internet and there's been a great swell of interest and delight.

Our friends from many local vintage clubs are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the most tractors standing in one place at the same time with the proceeds going to Thurles Order of Malta. This is a very worthy cause and promises to be an entertaining fun day out for all the family.

The tractor challenge will hopefully see over 5000 tractors in Thurles Racecourse, on Sunday 27th. We are appealing to all tractor owners of both old and new tractors, to make a special effort to help us break this record. If you wish to beat the traffic you may wish to avail of advanced parking, on Saturday 26th April. Advanced booking will be essential for this. Contact Michael on 087- 2712967 to get ahead of the crowd. Otherwise bring your tractor to the racecourse on Sunday 27th April, starting at 11am. For further information, contact Joe, the organising secretary, on 086-2439746. This event will be a family day out with live music, entertainment, face painting and bouncy castles. So save the date in your diary and we look forward to meeting you there.
